Lego was invented by  Ole Kirk Christiansen a carpenter was Denmark, he began by making wooden toys and bricks in his workshop in 1932. By 1951, LEGO ventured into plastic toys; the company expanded its operations in the 1950s and 1960s beyond the shores of Europe.


There are hundreds of billions of Lego bricks in the world, with older conservative estimates citing over 400 billion pieces and newer tracking suggesting the total has grown past 700 billion to over a trillion total elements produced

"Only the best is good enough" is the famous company motto of the LEGO Group, coined by the founder and this has been the measure for further development and quality control of new innovation within the company blocks.
