WHEN BEING A “GOOD STUDENT” BECOMES A TRAP

Being a good student is usually seen as something to celebrate.
Good grades,
perfect attendance,
completing assignments,
following instructions.
It all sounds ideal.

But what happens when being “good” becomes more important than actually learning?
Some students become so afraid of making mistakes that they stop asking questions, taking risks, or expressing opinions that might be different from everyone else's. They learn to chase the correct answer instead of developing their own ideas.

School should teach students that mistakes are part of learning. A student shouldn't have to be perfect to be successful.
Because sometimes, the pressure to always be the “good student” can quietly prevent a student from becoming a great thinker.
